2008 IHCUS National Specialty
I had a great time seeing old friends this year although my trip was cut short. The quality at this national was the best that I have seen in recent years. Congrats to all the winners. For a complete list of winners visit the Ibizan Hound Club of the United States.
I am pleased to announce that Ch Aliki's Shaken Not Stirred "Bond" went first Award of Merit handled by owner Erin Roberts. This young special is off to a great start!!!! He is the sire of my current litter See entry They're here for more info on this litter.
In addition to Bond's win, Ch DaVinci Aliki's Kiss My Ice, R.N. "Kimber" went Best of Opposite Sex in Veteran Sweeps and Best Veteran at the National handled by owner Christie Shaw. Kimber had so much fun in the ring. It was great to see her out there.
And last but certainly not least, Ch Aliki's Classic Martini, R.N. "Grant" earned his Junior Coursing Title on Friday!!!! Way to go Lauren and Grant!
It was a great couple of days! Can't wait for next year!
